On December 30, 2025, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan summed up the results of the annual "Best Scientist" award - 2025.
Among the laureates of the award is Dr. Farida Amutova, Head of the Laboratory of Physicochemical Methods of Research Co Antigen LTD, recognized in the field of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences.
Based on the results of the competitive selection, 50 scientists representing research institutes, higher education organizations and scientific departments of various organizations became laureates. The award was established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2024 No. 103-VIII ZRK "On Science and Technological Policy" and is one of the systemic measures to support scientists, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its goal is to reward researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of science and technology, as well as to stimulate scientific and research activity.
In 2025, the competition received 358 applications in seven areas: Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Medicine and Healthcare, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, and Military Sciences and National Security.
Following the work of the Republican Competition Committee, the decision was made to award the 2025 "Best Researcher" prize to 50 scientists whose research and scientific results have made a significant contribution to the development of Russian science.
